Here is a Helicopter Safety Seminar that will be enjoyable as well as a great learning experience!
As we all know the computer is taking over more and more of our everyday life. With that in mind and the inherent distrust we all have for them, Brian Beal, the undisputed world expert from BF Goodrich Aerospace Systems will explain the ins and outs of the FADAC System from the pilot’s seat. This is sure to be a don't miss event. At present the BF Goodrich system is installed in the following aircraft: Bell 407, Bell 430, Bell OH58D, Bell AH6M, MD 600, Cessna Citation III, BAE 146, Boing CH47, Super Lynx and S76 C++.
Larry Mattiello, the president of AirSure Limited and also from PalMatt Aviation Safety & Risk Management, LLC will bring us up to date on the midair in NY. Larry will also go over the latest agreed procedures or mandates on using the river and heliports in NY City, which most of us use on a regular basis.
Terry Palmer from Flight Safety and also from PalMatt Aviation Safety & Risk Management, LLC will review the newest flight training devices for helicopters, their placement in the US and how to get the most out of them. Accident free flight training is the goal we all wish to accomplish. Both Terry and Larry will present some “food-for-thought” on issues affecting aviation human factors.
Now the good part; we will be serving Sharkey’s fresh roasted famous coffee made from green Columbian High Mountain beans. A pizza lunch will be followed by fresh, made from scratch, vanilla ice cream for dessert.
We will be starting at 9:00AM on Saturday January 9 at Sharkey’s Helicopters, 6 Airport Road, West Lebanon, NH 03784, 603-298-8728.
There will be a 10:30 coffee break, lunch at noon and planned finish at 1:30. Our three guest speakers will stay afterwards to answer any one-on-one questions.
Please RSVP by 12/31/09 so we can have enough coffee and food for all. RSVP to Roger@sharkeys.com if you plan on attending. Hope to see you there, it should be a great learning experience and you can even add an extra pound to help keep warm on the way home
